IT support that knows your office

When a laptop won't connect, the printer stops or a new hire starts Monday, your staff need one place to ask and someone who already knows your setup.

What day-to-day support includes

IT support is the part of managed IT that your staff notice. It is who answers when something stops working, and how fast it gets fixed. With us it is part of one fixed monthly agreement, so nobody has to decide whether a problem is worth a bill.

  • A real help desk. People reach us by phone, email or the support portal. Whoever takes the request already has your device list and office notes open, which saves everyone a long explanation.
  • Everyday requests. Password resets, new user setups, departing staff, shared mailboxes, printers, scanners and phones are all covered.
  • Monitoring. Small software agents on each computer report full disks, failed updates, dying drives and security alerts. Many problems get fixed before anyone calls.
  • Patching. Windows, macOS, browsers, PDF readers and common business apps update on a schedule. We track what failed and follow up.
  • Network care. We look after the firewall, switches and access points, and keep guest Wi-Fi apart from staff devices.
  • Vendor calls. When the internet provider, the copier company or your records software vendor needs chasing, we phone them ourselves and keep pushing until it is sorted.
  • Hardware and licenses. We recommend, order and set up new laptops, track warranties and keep a simple list of what you own.

Support shaped around Decatur offices

Decatur's business mix is unusual for its size. Census data for ZIP codes 30030 and 30033 shows 474 health care establishments and 177 legal services offices, alongside restaurants, shops, design studios and dozens of nonprofits. Each brings its own kind of support call.

  • Counseling and therapy practices. A telehealth session that won't connect is a client who waited and a clinician who lost an hour. We make sure cameras, headsets, browsers and the records system work together, and we keep practice laptops encrypted and locked to the people who should use them.
  • Medical and dental offices. The front desk depends on scheduling, imaging and payment systems all talking to each other. We coordinate with your software vendors so an update on their side doesn't stop check-ins on yours.
  • Law offices near the courthouse. Filing deadlines don't move. We plan updates and changes around court calendars, keep document management tools running and make sure attorneys can work securely from the courthouse or home.
  • Nonprofits. Staff turn over and volunteers come and go. We keep a tidy list of who has access to what, remove accounts promptly and make donated or older hardware last as long as it safely can.
  • Studios and creative firms. Large files, Macs and design software need fast storage and a network that isn't choking on a single consumer router.

Wi-Fi in buildings that weren't built for it

A lot of Decatur offices sit in older brick buildings, converted bungalows or second floors above shops. Signals struggle through thick walls, and the internet line often enters at the far end of the building. We walk the space, measure where coverage drops and place business-grade access points where people actually sit. In shared buildings we make sure your network is separate from the neighbors' and from the landlord's equipment.

Remote first, in person when it matters

Most requests are finished remotely before the caller hangs up. For jobs that need someone in the room, like a dead switch, a move between suites or a new front-desk workstation, an engineer comes down from our Alpharetta office. We schedule visits in groups, so an office in Oakhurst or Avondale Estates gets the same attention as one on the Square.

Send us a question and a senior engineer answers within one business day. Once you are a client, the agreement spells out how fast we respond to each kind of problem.

When you're switching from someone else

If an outside provider or a staff member has handled IT until now, we collect admin logins, domain and DNS details, licenses and vendor contacts before anything changes. If the person who did it is staying, we spend time with them and record how things were set up. In the first few weeks we install monitoring, fix the urgent items from the review, close old accounts and give everyone one number to call. After that the work is steady: support, maintenance and a short quarterly review with the owner or director.

Questions about it support

Will you support our Macs as well as PCs?

Yes. Many Decatur practices and studios run a mix. Both get the same monitoring and updates, as do the phones and tablets staff use for work.

Can you help staff who work from home?

Yes. Laptops are managed the same way at home as in the office, and we can help with home Wi-Fi problems that affect work, such as dropped video calls.
